Welcome to ABR Spring 2023!
A new season and a new website!
We have moved our website to Sports Engine, where we can offer much more content with more diverse resources. And hopefully this will fix some of those glitches with the team apps. We are learning as we go, and the registration process is a little different. Please reach out if something isn't working properly for you.
One thing that is unfortunate is that our family accounts and players didn't automatically move with us. You will need to create a new account here. But next season you will be all-set again.
Sign up early for a $25 discount through December 31, 2022!
We are looking forward to the spring season, which will begin with practices in mid-March and will continue through early June. We welcome our youngest players with free T-Ball and Blastball again this season.
Looking forward to seeing you on a ball diamond soon!
FEE WAIVERS - ABR is committed to giving every child it can the chance to play baseball. Anyone may request a fee waiver from the League, no questions asked. If you do so, complete this registration process and continue to check out, indicating you will pay by check. We will adjust your balance for the fee waiver.
NON-VOLUNTEER FEE - ABR is a volunteer organization that relies upon the participation of the Arlington community and our parents to deliver the exceptional programming that we are known for. Volunteers can expect hands-on training and resources for each role. We hope you will choose to join us, but it is not required. If you choose not to, there will be a $50 administrative fee added to your registration at check-out. The fee is $50 per family, regardless of the number of players you have with ABR. We hope you will choose to volunteer with us!
MULTIPLE CHILD DISCOUNTS - If you have more than one child registering with ABR today, there is a $10 discount for each additional sibling.
ARLINGTON COUNTY PLAYER ASSESSMENT - Arlington County imposes a fee, payable to the county, to provide field maintenance. It is required of all players who use county facilities. This fee will be added to each registration at checkout.
LEAGUE BOUNDARIES - Beginning at the point where Arlington County, Alexandria, and the Potomac River meet, west along the Alexandria boundary to Route 236, west along the northern edge of Route 236 to I-495, along the inner edge of Route 495 to its intersection with Route 7, running west on the northern edge of Route 7 to the Loudoun County border, along the eastern of the border between Fairfax and Loudoun Counties the Potomac River, and down the Potomac River to the starting point where Arlington, Alexandria., and the Potomac River meet (view map and other grandfather rules under League Boundaries).
REGISTRATION PROBLEMS? Our website is brand new! We hope you like the new look. But we are working on some pesky glitches, so if you encounter problems with your registration, incorrect fees, or anything else you have questions about, please reach out to arlingtonbrbaseball@gmail.com.
HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN YOU ARE ALL SET? You can be sure you've fully completed your registration process if you reach a payment options screen, and receive a confirmation after you pay. Don't forget to register as a volunteer too!
