Storm 9-Black came from behind to to win their district tournament last week and now will journey to Winchester for the Babe Ruth Cal Trail State competition. Watch this space for updates.

Tough first game loss yesterday, but battling back with two wins today, beating Augusta 14-0 and Manassas 7-4.

Arlington wins, beating Peachtree 7-1 and Winchester 5-3!  Next up -- the championship game tomorrow!

Update 7/2

Arlington won the first game and forced a second in this double-elimination tournament. Unfortunately, their march ended there with a loss to Williamsburg.

Update 7/13

As the second-place finishers at states, Storm 9-Black got a bid to advance to their regional competition in North Carolina. The tournament began today with pool play games. Storm lost a close game against Sandhills, NC, then beat West Boca, FL. Unfortunately, that was followed by a loss to Julington Creek, FL to end the day in third place in their division. More games tomorrow. The top two finishers in each bracket will play the championship round on Saturday. Stay tuned!
